My birthday went great btw. Thanks for all the folks who wished me well or fed me delicious cake. I shared it with my llamas. XP (Tina, come get some FOOD) You are all very much appreciated.
My first pick of the night is by LIN JIN. For some reason he decided to call this piece "The Nun", which to me made no sense to me at all, at least not in the standard definition of any nun I have ever heard of, especially with the occultic looking crescent moon earrings, but maybe they are just bananas. She may not be a nun in any normal definition of the term, but she sure is a cool fantasy lady, complete with the ubiquitous and highly dubious bits of armored accouterments.
You know, I'm not even sure how to describe Axel Sauerwald's latest picture. It has a such a clear narrative that it tells is so eloquently in its ominous silence, that you can almost hear the hollow sound of the wind from the approaching storm. The lighting on the priests in the foreground dims foreboding as it approaches the ominous specter of The Giant Mimr almost as if the chords he drags behind him are hauling the lowering sky in tow as befitting his grim purpose. Very cool stuff, as is the rest of his gallery.
Astri-Lohne Sjursen's latest commission piece, Imogen is the priest all the male party members are glad to have watching their backs during the dungeon crawl, and maybe afterwards at the celebratory feast at the local standard RPG watering hole. It's either that or maybe (big surprise) I am just a sucker for gingers.
And, sorry people, I had to include this Violet Evergarden fanart by
raikoart. The more I watch this show the cooler it gets, so everyone's favorite "Auto Memories Doll" kind of had an unfair advantage due to my my own personal bias.
Oh heck I might as well toss in Aoleev'a vibrant "Who Brings Life" in as well fro good measure.

My Fright-ing Month Poems
Here is the spooktacular assortment of tasty terrors I cooked up for this month's "Fright-ing Month" poetry challenge, 13 tasty treats to suit the palates of all the things that go bump in the October nights. We have to keep them well fed or they may go hunting for their own sustenance. And that would be no good for all the sweet little trick or treaters! Call it a sort of ghoulish preventative maintenance if you prefer. Enjoy! ^_^ Poem #1 Poem #2 Poem#3 Poem #4 Poem #5 Poem #6 Poem #7 Poem #8 Poem #9 Poem #10 Poem #11 Poem #12 Poem #13
